We always need help with Maintenance!

The Amherst Heritage Centre in line with many other charities has a large maintenance list every year. Running an education centre means that we suffer a lot of wear and tear to our facilities and they require repair and freshening up regularly.

We have a maintenance team who volunteer for us and assist to help with the on going programme. The activities are quite wide and varied from stripping the paint from one of our buildings and repainting to repairing broken handrails. We predict that Belvedere Place our new Education building is going to need a lot of care and this will be delivered by our maintenance team.
